Coach Russell Robey,
Thank you for accepting my son, Johnnie, III, into the College Bound Athletics (CBA) program. Since Johnnie’s enrollment, I’ve witnessed significant positive improvements in his physical, mental, and athletic skills and ability.
Physically, I’ve seen improvement in his muscle definition, lean muscle gain and physical conditioning. Your scientifically based program yields positive results. My son began the program with a decent physique. However, after a few weeks into the program, his physical appearance improved drastically. My wife comments on how nice his body has developed. Johnnie started the program with 15% body fat and after 3 weeks into your program his body fat percentage dropped by a few points. In the same 3 weeks, Johnnie added about 9 pounds of lean muscle. The CBA conditioning program prepared my son for the football season.
CBA is more than a weight training and athletic improvement program. Coach Karen Robey helps clients with proper nutrition and weight management. Coach Karen Robey provided regular suggestions to help Johnnie stay true to his training goals. In addition, your mentoring my son about the positive effects of eating healthy and eating unprocessed foods has helped to change his perspective on eating. Your encouragement to him to eat frequently helps to support his muscle development. Your CBA program taught my son the impact that sleep has on his developing body. I can surely say my son gained a significant amount of knowledge about diet, strength, and conditioning while enrolled in CBA.
Prior to enrolling my son in CBA, I bought him a membership to a local gym and invested in a personal trainer. When the CBA program is broken down by the number of sessions and hours of each session, your CBA program was significantly cheaper than the gym membership and personal training, Additionally, yielded monumental gains over the gym program in Johnnie’s athletic performance, physical conditioning, and lean muscle gains.
I am very happy with your program and more than happy with the results along with the athletic improvement I have seen in my son over the past few weeks. I will continue to have Johnnie enrolled in your program and I would highly recommend your program to any parent or athlete who is interested in having an athletic edge over the competition.
Please feel free you use me as a witness and reference for College Bound Athletics.
Sincerely,
Johnnie Walker, II
As a parent, I believe College Bound Athletics was one of the best conditioning mind/body programs I have placed my son in by far!!
I could not believe the transformation I noticed in my son in just a short period of time, it was to me like an overnight change. My son never lacks the confidence to compete on the playing field. My biggest mistake with CBA was, not knowing about the program sooner. In my son’s first year of playing college football there was a significant difference in his physical size and physical play on the field. I would highly recommend this program to anyone who is serious about their training and wants the most that their body has to offer. As my son would say, “It pulls the beast out of you and you come with a new swag about yourself, begging to obtain the confidence within yourself. It causes you to become comfortable with being uncomfortable! It causes you to go into the deep dark parts of your mind and find someone that was waiting to play all along. It’s a wild adventure”.

My journey with CBA never ceases to help me increase my game to the next level. Coach Robey prepares me to be in the best position to win. At CBA we live by a Latin phrase which in translation means: Victory Favors the Prepared. The athletes that I trained with all agree that this training program is the hardest work we have ever done. However, the increased level of performance in our respective sports speaks volumes. The training allowed me to be in tip top shape walking into camp. I was able to pass the conditioning test with ease. I rarely found myself out of breath, my cuts were strong, and change of direction became a game that I would play against defenders whenever I felt like it. I was equipped with the power, endurance, and durability to dominate in my sport. With the mental conditioning you get at CBA, I was able to manage my time, focus and prioritize. With CBA you get a lot more than a trainer to go to, it becomes a life changing experience. College Bound Athletics will be the core of my growth for the remainder of my athletic career.
Thank you and I know I will be back for more!

College Bound Athletics taught me about the importance of falling in love--falling in love with the process of training, falling in love with the working body, falling in love with the working mind, falling in love with each day. When you think of the things you have truly loved- what does that look like? Love is all consuming, intense, leaves no room for fear, or doubt, demanding all of your effort, a demand to which you concede in a heartbeat. Imagine if every single task, every interaction, every day was approached with this love. Imagine the success. This is the foundation of training at CBA- when you love what you are doing you will give everything to it and you will get everything back. Love each task, each movement- give it everything, do not fear or doubt. This love is even evident in the way that Coach Robey and Coach Karen work with each athlete. In spite of the brief period of time during which one gets incredible physical results, these two amazing individuals are willing to give more time, sincerity, knowledge and effort than any other trainer or program.
Coach Robey has truly mastered the workings of the human body, designing a unique program that shapes, trains, activates and strengthens an athlete’s muscles, joints, and cardiorespiratory system through constant challenge. More importantly, the program strengthens the mind in the same way- constant challenge. I developed a whole new understanding of the importance of mindset in all training, disdaining the false limitations it imposes, and understanding that these are nearly the only existing “limitations” both inside and outside the gym. I also gained a whole new appreciation of the human body- its power and its ability to adapt when you repeatedly force it to work harder than you once thought possible. But this amazing machine is at the disposal of the incredible human mind! Thus the mind is what is primarily trained at CBA, for once the mind is clear of all conflict effort flows. One’s results will increase in direct proportion to his/her effort. This sounds like common sense, but effort is truly redefined at CBA.
This brand new understanding of love, of effort, of the power of the mind and the capacity of the body is by no means something only applicable in the realm of training. Training at CBA has helped me to extend this strong mindset to all aspects of my life- academics, relationships, housework, etc. I now study, converse, drive, and perform any task necessary in a more focused way that allows me to give everything to whatever I happen to be tackling, reducing the unnecessary thoughts in my mind that take energy away from this. We live in an anxious world and CBA has taught me how to fight this. CBA helped me to discover what it means and what it looks like to give everything, providing a safe environment for me to explore boundaries and push past them each day. How do you know a true limitation exists unless you truly reach that limit? Once you know what it means and feels like to give everything suddenly there is no material one is unable to master through such effort, no obstacle one is unable to overcome when it is approached with that intensity. One must simply be prepared and give everything. I’m unable to say that this mindset was easy to obtain, nor that it is always easy to maintain. I can say that Coach is ALWAYS there to remind his athletes of what they have conquered and will conquer, to remind us that challenge should be embraced, and that effort is what matters. He is understanding in the first week when the approach is all new and in the latter weeks- your biggest fan as you crush what once crushed you, loving your mind, your body, where you are, and what you're doing.

I am very happy to support College Bound Athletics, Inc. (CBA). My son is an athlete that has participated in many training programs and by far, the training he received at CBA, has truly resulted in a well rounded, student, person and athlete.
When my son first approached us about CBA, we were quite skeptical about the “guaranteed” results of the program, not to mention the unconventional approach to training that we had become accustomed to, nothing like training as explained by CBA. However, my son was relentless with his desire to try the program so we requested a meeting with the trainer. Still, I was skeptical about the “guaranteed” results.
Over the next two months, not only did this program deliver the results they promised, it had me spreading the word that this is the best training program that we have ever tried. Not only was it about the training, but explaining why it was necessary to do certain activities in a certain way to produce the greatest results. The program provided a diet plan for them to follow, as well as provided the athletes a place they could just be themselves.
If you or anyone you know are trying to develop a well-rounded young college bound young adult, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND, College Bound Athletics, Inc.
Sincerely,

Coach Robey,
I want to thank you and CBA for our daughter's transformation after participating in the program. I had high expectations and you delivered on all levels. I quickly learned the CBA program, albeit demanding, is much more than the physiology for building strength, maximizing endurance, and increasing agility. The collective science behind what you do WORKS and I have seen firsthand RESULTS. What surprised me the most was your uncanny ability to coach through the psychological and emotional barriers to help the athletes realize they are in control and the sky is the limit. I am convinced this revelation was the key to Preya's success and has changed her overall outlook on life. Thanks again for all you do and especially for your commitment to invest in our youth. I look forward to your expanding CBA so many more can benefit from the program and reach their potential.
Sincerely,
Colonel James Davis

The College Bound Athletics Program, directed by Coach Russell Robey, is by far the BEST athletic program for athletes of any age. I have paid for gym memberships and resident trainers to help my sons improve their physical performance with minimal results. However, after having had all three of my sons enrolled in this program, I have noticed significant improvements in muscle mass gains, fat loss, athleticism, speed, quickness, self confidence and, more importantly, on field performance. The College Bound Athletics Program maximizes your athlete’s physical performance and provides a greater value for your money that your average store front gyms and their in house personal trainers. My sons look forward to attending this program every off-season.
In conclusion, the College Bound Athletics Program is an outstanding training program designed to improve your child’s athletics ability and performance. This program has set my sons ahead of the competition and has positioned them on a path to be well prepared for college.
Sincerely,
Paul Miller
At the very beginning, before I had even signed the papers, I was a little intimidated by the stories I've heard from training with Mr. Robey. It actually took me a whole year to finally decide that I wanted to challenge myself and start training. My first day in the gym, about 2 minutes in, I already wanted to cry. I thought I knew what I was getting myself into, but I was wrong. I didn't want to cry because anyone was yelling at me or anything; it was just the intensity of the exercise and how much it burned. I actually loved the way Mr. Robey pushed me to go one step further each time. In the first week (Hell Week) I probably shed a few tears because my body was in pain, but I knew I had to finish and could not give up. I did not want to continue AT ALL after Hell Week, but then the second week came and doors started opening. My body was getting used to this intensity and I actually loved coming to workout. You will start to see a tremendous difference in your body, attitude, and posture within 2-3 weeks. Anyone is able to do this program, you just have to have the right mindset and come in focused and ready to work out every day!

My experience with College Bound Athletics was very different. It was nothing like I had ever experienced before. It was challenging, exhausting and absolutely the hardest training I had ever done in my life, but it was worth every single second of it. I have been an athlete for 15 years now and I can honestly say that the training I went through over the summer with this program was the most productive training I have ever gone through. Also, I love quick results, as everyone else does, and this program made that possible. I saw changes in myself in the second week of training. The different exercises that I did were difficult, but just when I wanted to give up, Coach Robey would push me through it with encouraging words. When I finished the program I felt like a whole new person. I would absolutely recommend this program to everyone. All athletes that sign up get a written out nutrition guide and are told to show up every day and work hard! As I said before, I would recommend this program to anyone.

Change is the act or instance of making or becoming different. In order to achieve change there has to be a transition out of what we so call the "comfort zone". The comfort zone is a place where one can personally hide and feel at home. The CBA program allowed me to step into what was a fearful place. The program allows you to push yourself out of that comfort zone by challenging one into an unknown place. Russell Robey, who I call Coach, teaches us not to be afraid of the unknown, rather explore and overcome barriers that were implanted by our minds just to limit ourselves from being who we really are. At CBA, we learn to be proper athletes with individual opinions that can be expressed and embraced. To oppress one's individuality can only lead to negative thoughts, which are followed by negative actions.
The first week of training is the toughest. You're mind works against you, and doubts start to arise. The support from the CBA "family" is what helps you to keep going. Family, because we have all gone through the same program and all come to support athletes that are new to the Program in order to motivate other athletes to become successful. One quote by my Coach is, "I will never put you in a position to fail." Failure is not with trial and error, failure comes when one has given up. At CBA, it's all about effort; effort with training, nutrition and outside of training in our "normal" lives.
While in training, we learn some of the aspects that help us know why the program works so amazingly. We learn about our bodies, my favorites are the Id and the Ego. The Id is the hardest to overcome, the one that usually stops me from giving effort. Soon we learn how to shut the Id up. We learn about bodily functions and the way our body heals.
Coach Robey is by your side every step of the way. He sticks by our side to get us through our doubts and fears. In order to be set free from a fear one has to expose it, and Coach helps us to expose our fears and crush them. Coming out of the program is change. You act differently, see clearly and physically look differently. The experience gathered is worth a million years in the making. We become better athletes, and have the opportunity to do anything. We come out as "super human". Some people ask Coach Robey what he does and he just says "I think it's all in the water we give them". Although, we all know that it is hard work, because hard works beats (excuse my French) every damn thing!

CBA has been a big piece to my professional career. When I first came to CBA I thought I knew it all about power and how to push my body to its limits. When I met Coach Robey and he started telling me about how certain parts of my body were weak, I thought to myself, this guy is crazy, he can't tell that from looking at me. After he analyzed me he told me to do just one set of leg presses to show me what he meant. So I got on and started doing it and he started working me. After just one set of leg presses I threw up. I told myself I'm never coming back--haha. I went home and slept on it and decided, I think I'll give it a try. Once I started I began to notice differences in my body and how quick I was gaining muscle but also with power. When I first got there I weighed 240/245. After I left, from just 4 weeks, I was an easy 260. I still had my quickness and jumping ability and I noticed I wasn't out of breath as much. Also I had two knee surgeries from high school and when I was finished with the program they felt tight and strong. As you can see just from my story the program works. I refuse to workout with any other trainer when I am home for the summer. Coach Robey has taught me so many things. Not just from pushing myself but also how to get through certain life problems. I recommend this program above any other because I know it works 100%.

CBA is a really great program and definitely increased my athletic ability like no other program could. CBA pushed me to the brink physically and even more emotionally through the vigorous workouts and turnaround of each workout. Honestly, this was the best program I've ever had and it changed my play in so many ways. No other program had gotten me the explosiveness I wanted like CBA did, or increased my lean body mass, and it happened in the little time I was there which was a month. But the best part was the Coach/Trainers. Mr. And Mrs. Robey are probably the best coaches I've ever had and I cannot thank them enough for the great senior year that I had and the rest of the years I am about to have. They really make you feel like you’re right at home. CBA is life/athletic changing.
